The WBUA is proud to serve as the exclusive officials for the annual Detroit Tigers' "Field of Dreams" Weekend Fantasy Camps at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan.

The WBUA is honored to have been retained as the exclusive officials for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game Fantasy Camp TM held in conjunction with the 2005 All Star Game in Detroit, the 2006 All Star Game in Pittsburgh, the 2007 All Star Game in San Francisco, the 2008 All Star Game in New York, the 2009 All Star Game in St. Louis and the 2010 All Star Game in Anaheim.

WBUA Executive Director Jerry Van de Vyver, General Manager and President Willie Viarnes and umpires Tyler Viarnes and Dan Becker were honored to represent the WBUA and officiate at the Major League Baseball - All Star Game Fantasy Camp in St. Louis, Missouri in 2009.

WBUA Executive Director Jerry Van de Vyver, General Manager and President Willie Viarnes and WBUA umpires Ken Bertin, Jason Frattini, Shawn Thompson and Andy Viarnes  represented the WBUA in Detroit in 2005.

The WBUA had the privilege of providing officials of the Women's Baseball Umpire Association for the premier Can-Am International Women's Baseball Tournament held in Detroit, Michigan on June 30th to July 2nd - 2007.  This tournament was the largest ever women's baseball event conducted in the United States with over 12 teams from Australia, Canada and the United States participating.  Scouts from Baseball USA - Women's Division were  in attendance to look at candidates for the USA team for the World Games.
